of our retail sales team, you'll work closely with Johnsonville's
marketing and category management teams to develop and deliver
consumer insights and category reviews that help our customers be
successful. You'll also work with our broker partners to make sure
that sales strategies are fully and effectively executed, from

Region. As a member of the US Retail Sales Leadership Team, you
will have the opportunity to develop and inspire members and teams
to achieve both short-term objectives and long-term
goals.Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a best-in-class regional sales team supporting
the Midwest Food geography
- Elevate strategic relationships with several core
customers
- Deliver on Volume, Net Sales, and Profit Targets through
ownership of the region P&L
- Execute against our national strategies and regional growth
imperatives that will deliver our financial KPI's and market share
growth
- Develop and maintain cross functional relationships with all
departments that impact and influence the success of the sales
organization
- Create a learning and growing environment for our members
- Assist your members with broker development and
accountability
- Lead and coach "Strategic Question Asking" sales process
- Coach and empower members to take calculated risks
- Recruit and develop members for succession planning and the
long-term health of the sales organizationEducation:
- Bachelor's Degree requiredExperience:
- Minimum of 7 years consumer packaged goods sales experience in
the retail grocery industry required
- Direct experience in food sales is a plus
- Proven experience building new and existing relationships with
key customers required; including those in key strategic
decision-making positions at headquarter level
- Demonstrated experience building and leading internal and
external teams, required
- Broker coaching and/or broker management experience,
preferred
- Experience with syndicated data (IRI, Consumer Insights, etc.),
requiredSkills and Competencies:
- Superior strategic and tactical business planning skills,
excellent understanding of the P&L
- Proven record of substantially building a business
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including
negotiation, presentation, coaching and motivation skills
- High degree of motivation, flexibility and initiative; ability
to generate new ideas and drive change where needed
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP/Trade Promotion Management
(TPM)Other Requirements:
