Skillwork is currently seeking Traveling Industrial Maintenance Mechanic's to join our team! This role offers freedom and flexibility in their work, and an opportunity to travel the country and learn new skillsets working with new companies. The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic must have experience in maintaining, troubleshooting and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment. The candidate must be proficient in various skill clusters, such as electrical controls, fluid power, mechanical systems, welding, fabrication, and manufacturing processes. The individual must perform medium to high-level machine system troubleshooting, repair and provide technical support for all phases of the operation. Must have the ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical blueprints/schematics. Automation and controls troubleshooting and problem-solving with practical, mechanical and electrical aptitude is essential. Required:

• Ability to work various shifts / overtime / days per week.
• 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical/electrical components including shafts, bearings, gearboxes, pumps, motors, drives, 3 phase power.
• Proficient in repairing and troubleshooting a variety of conveyor systems and hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Fully computer-literate. Preferred:
  • Educationally certified through a tech/trade school beyond High School. Benefits:
