Job Description:
Overview:Up to $33.48/hr* Under limited supervision, supervises
and participates in the inspection, maintenance, and repair of ride
control systems to ensure efficient and safe operations at all
times. Assists in the installation, modification, upgrading, and
repair of Allen Bradley ride control systems used throughout the
Park. Performs related technical and supervisory duties as
required. *based on skill at time of offer.
Responsibilities:Ensures rides are maintained according to the
manufacturer, Company, and state guidelines to ensure the safety of
the ride operators and guests. Interacts and communicates with
various groups and individuals such as the intermediate supervisor,
other Park managers and staff, co-workers, subordinates, guests,
vendors, contractors, inspectors, etc. Uses a variety of supplies
and tools, which may include, computer and clerical supplies,
electrician tools, meters, scopes, and other hand or power tools.
Operates a variety of equipment and machinery, which may include a
vehicle, snorkel lift, fork lift, computer, two-way radio, etc.
Refers to policy and procedures manuals, maintenance manuals,
technical manuals and diagrams, blueprints, computer manuals, ride
manuals, catalogs, reference manuals, etc. Prepares and/or
processes numerous maintenance reports, shift reports, purchase
orders, modification forms, estimates, contract agreements,
schedules, etc. Receives and reviews various records and reports
including maintenance requests, maintenance reports, schematics,
ride modification forms, purchase orders, equipment manuals, shift
reports, safety sheets, downtime reports, contractor quotes, etc.
Coordinates activities with other departments and crews as
necessary. Oversees and coordinates outside controls contractors as
the Owner Representative. Ensures new ride control systems meet the
requirements and standards of Company and State or Local laws.
Assists in maintaining documentation of ride control systems.
Coordinates and performs annual preventative maintenance of ride
control systems Maintains integrity of existing ride control
programs and checks annually for discrepancies of each ride system.
Maintains a working copy of existing control system software and
keeps up to date with newer versions. Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications:Ability to use spreadsheet, database, and AutoCAD
computer systems Must possess extensive knowledge of PLC's, motor
drives and display units. Ability to pass a mandatory (or random)
drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or
provincial law. Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of
age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit,
criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal
references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal,
state, or provincial law. Ability to work nights, weekends and
holiday periods to meet business needs. Driver's License --s-p-m1--
